The Mahanoy Area School District Information Technology Department is committed to providing easy-to-access and groundbreaking
technologies that will allow students to excel in their educational endeavours.
We have most recently implemented over 60 Nook Color Android-based eReader Tablets throughout the school district. These Nook Colors will be
used by many of the literature classes as a more up-to-date textbook, as well as an interactive environment for reading assigned novels.
Tom Swartz has also completely redesigned the website, from the ground up. The new format is a large step forward from the prior design.
This new site will keep up with emerging technologies and developments in HTML5 and CSS3. Please be aware that if you are using an older web browser,
you may not receive the full experience as it was designed. As such, the Mahanoy Area IT Department recommends that you use a modern browser;
Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are highly recommended.

If you are not using a computer connected to the MA Bears network, and still wish to file an IT Services ticket, you can email your problem to the following address:When composing your email, please be sure to include your name, information regarding your problem, as well as where you may be contacted (e.g. a room number). This email service is automatically checked, and you should receive a computer generated ticket stub once it is submitted.
